A Sparrow Leaves It's Nest-Babies 7, 8 and 9

Baby 1 Caleb was all ready to be independent and take on the adult world.

Venus was apprehensive about Caleb aging up so fast and leaving so soon, but she knew in her heart that it was time and she had to let go in order to keep her challenge going.

Hereee we gooooo!!

Caleb still looked exactly like he had as a teen, the only difference being the light blue stubble sprouting from his chin. He had dark squinty eyes from his father as well as a perpetual frown that made him look constantly angry.

Next were the triplets as Caleb wanted to see them be toddlers before he left for good.

 Baby 4 Sienna looked just like Venus with her upturned mouth and blonde-blue hair. She had a thin braid swept to the side.

Torrinn's eyes showed strongly and complimented her hair color well.

 

Baby 5 Kynsie, also had her mother's silky hair and Torrinn Winter's huge blue eyes.

Kynsie and Sienna looked the most similar out of the triplets and if Venus forgot to braid their hair on opposite sides it was difficult for her to tell them apart.

 And here we have Coverly as a toddler who looked the most like her father. All three of them had inherited Torrinn's bright blue eyes, and Venus finally new what Torrinn's secret feature was; She had thought that he just had black hair with brown eyebrows, it turned out that there was blue and pink in that hair as well!
Venus was mad that he kept it a secret, she was worried the children would get some sort of recessive gene that mutated their faces.

 

"Bye, Cuvs. Be good for mom." Caleb gave his favorite little sister a tight hug before leaving.

Venus hugged Caleb for what seemed like forever in her mind, and only let go when the cab driver started honking.

"Don't worry mom, I'll be good. It's a nice house, and it's not so far away." Caleb whispered.

Venus was already in tears, "My little boy grew up so fast..." she cried and gave him one last hug before the taxi whisked him away.

 

Venus cried all afternoon. One of her fledglings had finally spread it's wings and left the nest, but the pain from their leaving was unbearable.

All three of the triplets adored the new block table and would spend everlasting hours there until it was time for their bottle.

Zeke had been getting stressed out over her homework for the last week, and many letters were sent home to Venus over incomplete or sloppy homework, so Venus took the initiative to make sure Zeke got her work done immediately after getting home.

"Ugh, why does homework have to be such hard work? I'm not even good at maths, why should I have to take it!?" was Zeke's response to the situation.

Venus was sprinting across the backlawn to get to Kynsie and Sienna who were crying for their lunch when her heel got caught in the dirt and she tripped face first!

"That could have been dangerous if I were pregnant. I've gotta be more careful." 

Just a normal afternoon for the Lynch family.

Coverly and Sienna learned their skills on the blocks and piano while Zeke helps teach Kynsie to walk.

Venus was on her way to visit Caleb at his new house when a pink-skinned man caught her eye.

She knew him from somewhere she was sure of it.

"No way!" Venus gasped when he turned around. Early memories flooded in of her lazing around with a laptop reading old baby challenges.

"You're Kevin Rockwell!!!" Venus shrieked after brazenly running towards the man.

Kevin didn't seem the least bit surprised.

"So you must be Venus, then!" he replied, "I was wondering if I would run into you!"

Apparently Kevin had been keeping tabs on new baby challenges to take part in, and discovered Venus through her blog.

He happily agreed to become the father of baby 7!

 

There was no haste in getting back to Venus's house. Kevin seemed like the expert baby daddy and knew how quickly Venus needed to conceive if she wanted to complete this challenge.

Woohoo! Lullabies floated across the bedroom.

Triplets were such hard work after three single births. Not even a moment after Venus and Kevin had finished baby making, the girls were up from their nap and ready for a diaper change.

Thankfully Kevin had experience with children and was more than happy to help take care of the toddlers that afternoon.

"All right, little girl. It's time for you to age up!" Venus chirped while lifting Coverly into the air. She loved all her children to bits, but the triplets sure were a handful.

Before the toddlers age into children, we have Zeke as a young adult! She looked far more like Venus in young adulthood than she had before, with gorgeous peachy skin and plump lips.

Another baby had left the nest. Venus wasn't sure how many times she could take it, or if she would ever get used to the thought. But she supposed that it was necessary for the challenge she had taken.

Little Coverly's turn to embrace the sparkles of transition.

 

 Sienna as a child. She looked very similar to Kynsie, but had a bit smaller of a nose and inherited thicker eyebrows than her sister. She opted for two pigtails tied with a pink ribbon.

 Kynsie would have been a Carbon copy of Venus if it weren't for her aqua blue eyes! She had silky smooth hair that was always in a messy braid after people would persistently try to pet it.

 Coverly looked like a copy of her father Torrinn Winter! Even her lips were inherited from her father, while her sisters both had Venus's permanent upturned smile.

The triplets loved to play inside the new nursery and always invited Thessa to play with them. Venus was so proud that her children were so nice and shared so easy with others, especially since Thessa had so much difficult making friends.

The nursery had taken a hefty sum out of Venus's funds for the children. After paying bills they were left with barely enough for the next weeks meals. Venus made sure to run over to the grocer while the girls were at school and sell her newest harvest.

Time went by far too fast for Venus's liking, and before she knew it Thessa was growing into a teen!

Thessa kept her fingers crossed that she would no longer have her father's pudge as a teenager.

Violet's genes weren't going very far! Thessa looked like a carbon copy of her father-minus the hair and eye color.

Thessa had successfully lost most of the body fat inherited from her father Harold Thomson after many hours at the gym and working out in front of the television!

"The baby is coming!" Venus cried out in excruciating pain. Thessa awoke to find Venus curled up onto the bed and quickly called an ambulance to take Venus to the hospital.

Thankfully nothing had been wrong-it was just triplets!

Triple Scoop with Blue-Eyed Mystery on Top? Babies 4, 5 and 6

(Sorry ahead of time for going a little British in this post, I've been rereading Harry Potter, it couldn't be helped!)

It was time for another birthday! Baby 3 Thessa was old enough to age into a toddler.

Regrettably, Venus had forgotten about the previous cake fire and was carefree about how she placed the candles. One of them fell over onto the counter and stretched a fire across the kitchen.

Caleb was mortified, and Venus felt absolutely horrible that her little boy had to keep experiencing these fires during birthday parties. It would be a miracle if he didn't come out scarred later.

She rushed outside with Thessa in her arms and Caleb sprinting ahead.

The fire-fighters reported for duty after only a few moments, but the flames were already taking over the kitchen.

The blaze must have been of a substantial size, because that was the first time Venus had seen more than one firefighter at her house.

Venus decided to let Thessa age up on her own free-will. Of course, she became the cutest toddler ever!

Caleb was such a helpful big brother, and gave both girls their dinner bottle while Venus took a long-needed shower.

"Hmm, I'm normally puking my guts out right about now." Venus pondered aloud, she needed to find herself another baby daddy.

After scrolling through a few emails, she read this:

Venus Lynch, 

I have heard of your baby challenge after many desperate attempts to find a woman to love.

My wife left with my daughter once she claimed I was too obsessed with my work to give them a happy life. It's true, I love inventing so much, it has taken a chunk out of my life and personality. I could never find another woman to love after my wife, but I am no longer allowed to see my daughter. My only wish is to have a child to see on occasion, to reassure me that I am not soulless for being a workaholic.

Above this email, Venus saw an attached picture of an attractive man with large blue eyes.

She felt so bad for the man, and not having any other baby daddies to seriously consider, she emailed him.

Torrinn was so excited, he bought a plane ticket to Sunset Valley from Twinbrook right away and flew overnight to meet up with Venus!

They shared a passionate kiss in Venus's front lawn. Venus could sense that Torrinn was a little tensed up. Of course, that was normal among baby daddies and she reassured him that it was okay.

"This baby better get those blue eyes of yours!" Venus smirked at Torrinn while they cuddled in bed.

"Who knows, maybe it'll get something else of mine too!" Torrinn laughed mischievously leaving Venus to wonder what other special characteristics he had hidden.

Venus heard the beautiful lullaby that meant she had conceived float throughout the bedroom.

Inevitably, Zeke had to age up sometime, and since she'd learned all her skills, Venus though it would be okay. She was extra careful with the candles, and had a fire extinguisher handy just incase. And boy did she need it! Venus just couldn't understand how all these fires were getting started.

"Caleb, get outside! Its okay, mum will handle this!" Venus urged Caleb to leave the house, but he was rooted to the spot in shock.

"Oh no! Don't get stuck now! Come on!!" Venus shook the fire extinguisher and smashed it against the fridge to unstick the trigger.

Venus was able to subdue the fire to the fridge corner before the firefighter arrived, but both the counters and the fridge were now ruined, along with some of Caleb and Zeke's obligation to birthday parties.

"That's the third fire we've come to this month! Please be more careful next time!" The firewoman complained to Venus about the excessive fires.

"A law was passed last week that prohibits any indoor birthdays, I suggest you abide by it."

Outdoor birthdays it is, then! Venus used the burnt up counters as part of the new outdoor birthday area. And luckily, no fires appeared when Zeke blew out her candles.

Zeke as a child, she wore her hair in a long braid swept to the side and had gray-droopy eyes that made her look sleepy all the time.

"Dum dee dum, gardening makes me moneeyy dum de dee, money makes my babies happyyy" Venus hummed a little tune she made up to pass time while gardening.

"Oh! I've never had nausea this bad before!" Venus cried right before releasing her stomach into the toilet.

Zeke had a knack for the building blocks, and was always excited to point out her newest creations to Venus.

Baby 3 Thessa was not a fan of Venus's homemade baby food recipe, and threw it to the floor after one taste. The bowl shattered even on the soft grass and Venus made a note to buy plastic plateware instead of glass.

Thessa loved to hide from Venus whenever they went to the park, even though Venus knew exactly which toybox Thessa would hide in, she would always play along.

"Oh well, if I can't find Thessa, I guess I'll just name a new baby after her!"

Even with a limited knowledge of English, Thessa knew she would not allowed herself to be replaced and immediately came out of hiding.

Caleb finally confided in Venus that he was terrified of his birthday, and was afraid to grow up alone.

Venus was so proud of him for being honest instead of bottling it in until it was too late. She gave Caleb a big hug and promised he wouldn't have to grow up alone.

Zeke was more than happy to finally reach teenhood.

"Don't worry bro!" She cheered, "you can do it!"

Please don't let this cake set on fire! Caleb though fiercely inside his head.

Phew! no flames at this party, both kids grew up without a hitch!

Little Thessa had the most adorable face when she played with her blocks.

"It's only my second trimester and I already feel like a whale. Maybe I'll finally have twins or triplets?" Venus wondered excitedly.

To increase her chance for twins or triplets, Venus heard that watching Kidz Zone and listening to the kids radio station at the same time almost never failed.

"Remember that you've got to watch her and make sure she's in bed before 7. Just because she'll be a child doesn't mean that she's allowed to do what she wants, alright. Tell her mum said so."

Venus ran over Zeke's responsibilities to take care of Thessa while she was going to be at the hospital. Zeke seemed shocked that there was so much to do to care for an eight year old.

Thessa wasn't a child just yet!
In another attempt to avoid any more fires, Venus forced herself to let Thessa age up on her own. It would save her and the household another traumatic experience.

Oops. It looked like Thessa got her dad's fat gene, and aged up into a less-than-happy looking child.

Thessa started training at the gym right away, she didn't like feeling pudgy even though she was a child. Venus explained that she was beautiful in whatever way given, but Thessa demanded to workout. She was going to be one healthy teenager, Venus hoped.

Labor Pains! Time to check-in to the hospital!

Venus strutted proudly out of the hospital with a baby carrier at her side. She felt so giddy she couldn't contain it, she just wanted to get back home and surprise Torrinn.

Introducing Baby # 4 Sienna Lynch (Thanks to Chloe Calderwood!). She had a nice porcelain skin tone inherited from Torrinn.

Baby # 5 Kynsie (Thanks to Amanda York!) had her mum's skintone which was a little more tanned than her fathers was.

And last but not least, Baby # 6 Coverly (Thanks to Morgan Renee!) who also had a lighter colored skin than Venus did.

It was too early to tell if they would get Torrinn's bright blue eyes, but Venus had no doubt that at least one would!

"Hum. I wish I didn't have to leave so suddenly. I never expected triplets!" Torrinn exclaimed, holding up Coverly to look closely at her features. He quickly got another cocky look on his face, "haha! Coverly inherited my mystery feature!"

"What?! What mystery feature?! Why can't I know yet?" Venus pouted.

"You just have to wait and see!" Torrinn laughed, tucking Coverly into her crib.
